from local residents and our employees.
Kitakyushu Hibikinada Offshore Wind Farm
The project consists of 25 offshore wind turbines,
each with a capacity of 9.6 MW,
installed in the designated offshore area
of Kitakyushu City.
With a total generating capacity of 220 MW,
it is expected to produce approximately
500 million kWh of electricity annually,
enough to power around 170,000 households,
equivalent to about 40% of all households
in Kitakyushu City.
