As information technology (IT) becomes increasingly integrated into corporate activities and everyday life, ensuring information security has become an essential prerequisite for conducting business operations effectively and efficiently.

Recognizing that ensuring information security—by establishing an environment in which up-to-date and accurate information can be accessed in a timely manner only by duly authorized personnel—is a key management priority, we have established a company-wide framework under the leadership of top management, who bears ultimate responsibility for information security. Under this framework, all employees work together to implement the following measures to ensure information security.

1. We will comply with laws and regulations related to information security, other applicable social norms, and our Information Security Management Regulations and other internal rules.
2. We will establish rules governing the handling of information and information systems and provide employees with regular and ongoing education and training to prevent misconduct, misuse of equipment, and other inappropriate activities.
3. We will communicate this policy to our business partners and establish a coordinated information security management framework, including the execution of confidentiality agreements, to prevent information leaks and other security incidents.
4. We will appropriately implement security measures, including access control for buildings and measures to prevent unauthorized access to networks, in order to prevent the leakage, theft, misuse, or abuse of information.
5. We will appropriately manage risks in advance by securing alternative means and establishing recovery procedures.
6. We will regularly review our information security initiatives and make continuous improvements.
7. In the event of a serious information security incident, such as a major information leak, top management will take the lead in resolving the issue, investigate the cause, promptly implement corrective measures, and take steps to prevent recurrence. We will also disclose relevant information promptly and accurately.
