The V174-9.5 MW wind turbine manufactured by Vestas Wind Systems A/S was selected for the project.
With a rated output of 9.6 MW per turbine, these are the first wind turbines of this capacity to be deployed in Japan.

Considering the complex seabed topography and geological conditions within the project area, we brought together the technical expertise of our partner companies and adopted jacket foundations (piled jacket foundations) as the foundation type, enabling flexible adaptation through structural design and construction methods.
